How did we become Trew Beauty?
Believe it or not, finding a name for our new business was a challenge!
We wanted a name that would instantly communicate what we do and what services we offer, embodying our beliefs around beauty & self-care.
We also felt that it was important for us to create an identity that resonated with our local community as this is where we spend time with our amazing clients.
During a brainstorming session, a lightbulb moment occurred when we remembered a television program we had watched. It featured a segment on Trew and Moy Train Station which opened in 1858.
The Station was originally called ‘Moy Station’ and people travelled here from far and wide to visit the annual weeklong horse fair in Moy. But they were surprised and slightly disgruntled to find themselves more than two miles outside the village itself on Trewmount Road. To fix this issue, the name of the Station was changed to ‘Trew and Moy’ Station to better reflect its ‘Trew’ location!
From here we found our name, ‘Trew Beauty’ as a play on the words ‘True’ and ‘Trew’. We felt this really reflected what we are and what we do; enhancing the true beauty of our clients every day.
